January Get Altered Challenge Winner ~ Hearts

Talk about starting off the new year with a bang! We had an awesome response to our January Get Altered Challenge with the theme of Hearts. It was wonderful to see so many participants. Fabulous variety and creativity...thanks to all, including our amazing DT members, for sharing your art and providing such inspiration. Once again, you have made the task of choosing only one winner very difficult.

Our winner of the January Get Altered  (Hearts) challenge is

Avril B.
from

Congratulations, Avril. This is such an incredible piece with such depth and lovely texture.   The Distress inks over the paint create such a softly blended and vintage background. The effect of stamping that gorgeous face on tissue paper and then tearing the edges is delightful. The napkin roses frame the heart so well and blend into the background stamping like a ...dream :)

Avril, please contact Kim at kim@eclecticpaperie.com to claim your $15 gift certificate prize!

Our current challenge , the eTeam Picks Challenge hosted by our talented Andiepants, is exploring the theme of
Hope. Check out Andie's gorgeous and inspiring layout  here.
Hope to see you in the thumbnails!

Get Altered Challenge Winner

It feels good to be back to our regular schedule!  After a crazy September, with me being sick for two weeks, on vacation, and then celebrating our one year anniversary of owning the store...I feel like I've been playing catch up and was missing out on our twice a month challenges.  Aren't you excited about this week's challenge of watercoloring?  I adore Giovana's card...it's simply beautiful!

And what about our Get Altered challenge?  Did you get a chance to play along?  I LOVE seeing what everyone creates and it's such a great opportunity to check out other artist's work and blogs.  Great projects submitted for the altered box challenge and it was so hard to pick a winner but after pouring over the entries, I kept coming back to one...The winner of the October Get Altered challenge is...

Sarah Lynch

Sarah - Great job on your altered box!  I love the theme, the checkered floor, and the so sweet and tiny furniture.  Seriously, how cute is Sarah's creation!  Sarah, please contact me at kim@eclecticpaperie.com to claim your $15 gift certificate!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who participates in our challenges.  It really is such a delight to have you with us!!  Until next time...happy crafting!

So enough of my carrying on...let's announce last month's challenge winner...it's

Tracey created this darling tag from an advertisement she received in the mail and...wait for it...toilet paper!  Genius!  I adore the completed look!

A HUGE thank you to Tracey and everyone else who participated in last month's challenge!  We'll be announcing this month's challenge shortly so stay tuned...

Wow!  How has it been two weeks since the altered clock challenge?  My poor clock is still sitting on my dining room hutch...just as cute as ever but completely un-altered!  Here's hoping that today's winner inspires me (along with all of our amazing eTeam creations...did you check them out?  Fabulous!) to spend some time fixing up my own clock.  Wasn't this the greatest challenge?  I loved all of the stunning projects!!  Today our winner is...
