Winner of the February eTeam Picks Altered Bag Challenge

Woohoo! It's time to announce the winner of our February eTeam Picks challenge , hosted by our own talented and creative Toni. Toni chose the theme "Do Something With a Bag" and we had a wonderful range of interpretations...everything from paper or canvas bags to a ruched evening bag. So fun and so many wonderful ideas. Thanks to all who participated. We had quite a discussion when trying to chose just one winner.

Our winner of the February eTeam Picks  (Altered Bag) challenge is

Hedy H.

whose project (above) details can be read about here.

Congratulations, Hedy. Your lovely underwater scene on this bag with its combination of stamping, beautiful embroidery, and sweet charms captivated us. There is so much detail on this amazing creation.

Hedy, please contact Kim at kim@eclecticpaperie.com to claim your $15 gift certificate prize!

Our new and current challenge , the ePLAY Challenge , is hosted by the delightfully talented Karen Crossen and lasts for the entire month of March
. Have a look at the  gorgeous Travel Journal she created for her theme of Altered Books. There is an inspiration hop linked up to the other DT projects at the bottom of Karen's challenge post.
We would love it you joined us...can't wait to see what you do.

Recycling...who doesn't feel good about doing that and when you can combine it with the pleasure of creating something beautiful, it's a Win-Win. Thank you to all of the wonderful participants in our eTeam Picks Challenge for November. It was so fun to visit your blogs and see how creative you got with your recycling. We all came away inspired and eager to try new ideas. That's what our challenges are all about so mission accomplished ...lol.

Our winner for the Recycling challenge is:

Congratulations, Julie! We loved the recycled pen box. The joint compound is a fabulous idea and created amazing texture. Your Punk Bird is stunning and the addition of embossed leather scraps and beads added lovely detail. Whoever receives this gift is lucky, indeed.

eTeam Picks Challenge Winner

It's really not fair that I have to pick only one winner for each of our challenges...you are all so wildly creative that I find myself ohhing and aahhing over each submission.  A HUGE thank you to everyone who participates in our monthly challenges!  I have been so blown away by the participation, literally people from all over the world submitting projects, how fantastic is that...we're all connecting through art...LOVE it!  Alas, I did have to select only one winner this week and that person is....

Sue Carrington

Congratulations, Sue!  Please email me at kim@eclecticpaperie.com for the prize details!  Sue is a talented artist, whose work I've admired for some time now, and I was so impressed by both of her beautiful flower projects, shown above.  Adore the use of the metallics, the paste, stencils, and embellishments.  Beautiful creations!

Thank you again to everyone who has submitted projects...we love seeing your work and so appreciate that you've selected eP's challenges as one of your stops on your blogging adventure!
