i-Rock, Do You?
Bling, bling, bling! From the company that brought you the i-Top, Imaginisce now brings you another cool new tool called i-Rock! It's a portable, battery-operated helper to bling your projects out. The tool, when turned on, omits heat to help you affix the special i-rock gems to your projects. The gems have like a hot-fix glue so no need for messy glues.
There are several Hot Rocks Compacts that contain lots of crystal gems in many colors and sizes.
There are cute Glam Rocks that come in "lipgloss tubes" that come in a variety of colors.
Then, there are also i-rock Stencil Kits that can help you create a design with bling and flowers. You can also use the i-rock tool to affix the flowers onto your projects.
The i-rock tool retails for $12.99. It does require 3AA batteries. The gems are offered in a variety of offerings that range from $3.99 to 12.99. Here's our interview with Jeff, owner of Imaginisce, as he talked to us about the i-rock tool at Winter CHA.
Let's Get Rockin!

New Maya Road Summer 2010 Early Release
Maya Road knows how to help you get your summer paper crafting started. They released some new products that are wonderful for all your July 4th and other summer events.
The new Flower Pins come in Red & White. You can probably take your favorite blue Copic Marker and/or blue alcohol ink to make your own Blue flower pin. The Crystal Star Trinket Pin is a larger size(almost an inch in diameter). These would be fun to color, too.
The new Wood Bingo Calendar Numbers are really cool. There are 31 numbers in the set. You can use some numbers to highlight a specific birthday number, special day, and or use like bullet points in a fun scrapbook layout. Only your imagination limits your creativity when using these fun wood numbers.
Two new Mini Chipboard sets and Kraft Mini Tags complete with eyelet and string help to complete the collection.

Tim Holtz Texture Fades Close-Up
ALL Texture Fades designs have arrived. There are 8 different choices and each pack contains 2 different designs. The Texture Fades are sold "a la carte" or you can purchase eP's "I Want it All" option and you will receive the entire collection.
What makes these products a bit different than the embossing folders that you may already is 1) They were were designed by Tim Holtz; 2) Some of the designs may remind you of some of Tim Holtz stamp designs; 3) The folders will cover an entire A2 card front; and 4)"This grunge-inspired collection easily embosses so that select areas of the image appear perfectly faded and distressed."
Here some close-up samples to show you. Using the Core'dinations cardstock and some of my favorite designs, you can see how detailed some of the designs are when you emboss. The subtle detail of the distressed and faded designs on the end result really make for interesting texture.
Happy Wednesday!

The BINGO Texture Fade is probably one of my favorites. It has numbers like 25 for Christmas, 14 ofor Valentine's, and big birthday numbers like 13, 40, 50. 65. The PATCHWORK Texture Fade is also a favortie because you can cut up some really great images that are within the design. |
Happy Wednesday!
