Design Team

I'm excited to introduce you to eP's amazing design team! These ladies are some of the best in the industry and I'm thrilled that they're a part of the eclectic Paperie design team. Please take a minute to read through their bios and visit their blogs...you're sure to be inspired!

I'm Adriana Templeton or Andiepants. I hail from the wet state of Michigan.  I'm a mother of 4 (15, 11, and twins who are 8) and married to an engineer, who is the love of my life, for the last 11 years. By day I work for the U.S. government and by night I'm a scrappy, cubscouting, piano playing, motorcycle riding, house cleaning, wifey extraordinaire!

I got started in scrapbooking 11 years ago when my husband literally had to FORCE me to go to a Stampin' Up party. I've been hooked ever since. My craft has evolved over the years to encompass many forms of medium thus taking on the title...mixed media. However, scrapbook pages are my passion. Over the top, ooey, gooey, and full of color and texture.

I have been an educator and designer for a scrapbooking kit club for the last 5 months and have loved every minute of it. I also teach classes at my local scrapbook store. My inspiration comes from all around me in texture, text, graphic design...the sky is the limit. I am so ecstatic to have been offered a spot on the eclectic Paperie team and hope to bring you lots of inspiration and teach you things you never thought you'd see yourself doing.

 Bonnie Irvine
Design Team Manager

I live in a tiny town in mid-western Ontario, Canada with my awesome and hilarious husband, Steve, and my crazy cat, Molly. Crafting and creating art have always been a huge part of my life since I was a little girl. I've always loved paper, ink, paint and colour...lots and lots of colour. I immersed myself in scrapbooking and stamping a few years ago and became obsessed with it once I started swapping at Splitcoast Stampers. The more involved I became with the blogosphere, the more I learned from all of the talented and generous bloggers who are so willing to share their ideas, knowledge, and friendship. They gave me the know-how and courage to try new techniques and products. That's how I was bitten by the mixed media, altered objects, and art journaling bugs. I love the process of playing, creating, and experimenting and of sharing that journey with others. I am so honoured and excited to be a part of the eP team, an incredible group of talented people from whom I've already learned so much.

I’m a mother to 2 beautiful daughters, and a Nana to 3 young grandsons and an adorable granddaughter. I live in beautiful South Carolina where I’m an accountant by day for a major beverage distributor. I spend as much of my non-working time as possible in the paper-crafting world…either creating or sharing and learning online. I started stamping in 2005 and was honored with being chosen as a member of the Splitcoaststampers Dirty Dozen design team a short 2 years later. Coloring is my passion, and Copic markers are my “weapon” of choice. When I’m not crafting (or online!), you can find me playing with the grandchildren, kayaking, swimming or planning my next trip to the beach!

Hi everyone! I'm Julia Aston and I live in Massachusetts, just north of Boston. I've been doing some kind of crafting since I was about 5 years old when my mother would set my sister and I up on the dining room table with papers, stickers and crayons! I've jumped from sewing, to quilling, to papier mache and calligraphy and scrapbooking - finally settling on stamping where I've stuck for the past 9 or so years! I just love how I can create a beautiful card or craft with all the stamps, dies, and inks.  About a year ago I decided I needed to stretch myself and I started working with mixed media as well.   I was a school teacher in the past - but I presently work full time as the administrative assistant in the Trauma Division at a Boston hospital. I have a grown son out living on his own with his lady and a wonderful husband who tolerates my stamping addiction with very good humor and support! We also share our home with two sweet sister cats, Scout and Boo. I am Grand Aunt to two sweet little boys, a toddler girl and a brand new baby girl coming in April.  I make a lot of my cards/crafts around photos of them!   Since I have to be at work all day - I'm usually up late at night stamping away in my craft room. When I'm not stamping you will find me walking, reading, or gardening.  I'm also active at my church.   I am on the Design Team for a stamp company and a template company as well as being on a biweekly Blog Challenge team and I'm thrilled to be working with Kim and the talented ladies on the eclectic Paperie design team where I'm sure I'll hone up on my mixed media skills!

I am a full time mom, chauffeur, referee and short order cook for my 3 busy girls and my wonderful husband! We live just outside of Atlanta and love it down here in the south! I like to garden, play tennis and ice skate but . . . I LOVE mixed media art!! I never thought that I could be any good at art, because in school, I was never good in traditional art class. If somebody had just told me there was more to art than straight lines and realistic looking drawing, I might have done much better!! Now there isn't a day that I don't have paint or glue on my fingers and I have found my passion! So now I always tell people to jump in, put your fingers in the paint and play because you never know what might happen!

Mary-Ann Maldonado - eKit Coordinator

Hi, I’m Mary-Ann Maldonado from Methuen Mass.  I was born and raised in Maine but have lived all over the United States because of my now retired husband, Randy. We have a beautiful boy, Roman and one heck of a sexy dog named Flo and her chew toy, Milford, our cat. I have been scrappin' since 2000.  Wow, 14 years!!! I do travel with a kit company called The Button Farm and I blog and design for Farmhouse Paper Company.  Teaching locally at my favorite stores is tons of fun too.  I enjoy 12x12 layouts, cards and making mini albums. I love anything to do with paper, buttons, and twine.  I am very organized which helps with my hoarding tendencies!    I am pretty excited to be joining the eP team and look forward to creating.  I hope to inspire you!

Hi, my name is Michaela Harper, however I go by Micki. I am married to Chriss, who is my biggest supporter, mother to a wonderful daughter, Rachelle and awesome Son-In-Law, Kyle. I am blessed with three beautiful granddaughters; Emma, Gracy and Abby, who share my love of crafting.
Growing up in Germany, I was surrounded by all things crafty however I’ve only been paper crafting since 2006. I am not a ‘natural’ and am my own worst enemy. For me paper crafting has become a form of therapy and I am a firm believer that anyone can do anything – with practice. I enjoy being pushed outside my comfort zone and will try anything, any medium or craft and in the process share my experiences – good and bad in hopes of encouraging someone who is new to this art and maybe intimidated. I am very blessed to have met so very many wonderful people in the paper craft community, many who I now consider friends and am absolutely thrilled to continue this awesome journey with this wonderful team.

I live in southern Indiana with my husband of 34 years, Mr. Stodgy. We have two adult daughters, 3 Shih Tzus, and are soon-to-be first time grandparents. I can’t remember a time that I’ve not been interested in crafts. There wasn’t a time when I was growing up that I didn’t have a crayon or paint brush in my hands. Growing up coloring, paint-by-numbers and weaving potholders were all favorite past-times and I learned to knit, embroider and cross-stitch at an early age. While in high school my passion for art grew and eventually went on to study art in college. During my summer breaks, I earned my college spending money by painting and selling pen and ink/watercolor drawings of the drivers and cars at our local stock car track. I was introduced to rubber stamping in 1998 but it wasn’t until my girls were a little older that I began to take it seriously. I began making shadow boxes for friends with counted cross-stitch quotes, but soon realized that stamping the quotes would be more interesting, and from there . . . well, let’s just say I was hooked! I found Splitcoaststampers, signed up as a Stampin’ UP! Demonstrator, started making cards and holding stamp club. I’ve been a member of a number of Design Teams, including Splitcoaststampers Dirty Dozen, Rubbernecker Stamp Company, Lizzie Anne Designs, My Favorite Things, Just For Fun Rubber Stamps, and a member of the original E-Team. I’m currently a member of the Spellbinders™ Paper Arts Blog Team and teach mixed media/altered art classes.

 Sue Carrington

I've always been dabbling in something crafty even from an early age when I used to make stuffed toys and sell them. I took art at school so paint became a part of my life quite early on, then I dabbled in cross stitch and patchwork. Then one day before Christmas about 12 years ago I wandered into a craft shop in our village and bought a pack of make your own Christmas cards. The feedback I got was so amazing I booked into a workshop, was introduced to embossing powder and that was it ! I started my blog in 2009 and it's all grown from there, I love the blog community and it's been a fantastic source of support over the years. I've been introduced to so many different products and techniques that lead my creative thoughts in different directions. I find this so exciting and there's nothing better than spending quality time in my craft room with lots of new stash !

My name is Debbie Sherman, I am from Wyoming and have been designing for manufacturers for the last 8 years.  I just finished a 3 year term with Bo Bunny and a 2 year term with Therm O Web adhesives.  I have lots of CHA experience and just working with different designers and manufacturers in the industry. Right now it's pretty quiet for me and I have found that I am really loving mixed media right now.  I've recently made the decision to jump into the mixed media world... I was an oil painter for years and have recently re-discovered the paint brush through mixed media.  I continue to scrapbook and have been incorporating some mixed media onto my layouts and cards.
When I'm not in my scraproom, I'm a road designer for the Department of Transportation.  I'm also a puppy momma to 2 labradors, one yellow named Pearl and one chocolate named Mojo.  They make me happy and are my everyday along with my husband Jeff.  I have 7 grandchildren...yes you read that right 7!! They are my world along with my son and 2 daughters. I'm an avid photographer and play with my camera daily.
