Hi everyone! It`s Tracy here today and I am sooo excited to be sharing my first post with you all as a design team member with eclectic Paperie . . . thank you so much Kim . . . Woohooo!
Did you catch the talented Marji Kempers post yesterday?
Marji is hosting eclectic Paperie`s first eTeam Picks challenge and the theme is Altered Boxes.
Which leads me right on to the humble cereal box!
Yep that gift bag was made out of a . . . Rice Krispies cereal box . . .yes I know it isn`t in the picture, lol but I was so excited and in my haste totally forgot. But to prove it is a cereal box here is a peek inside. I added some Lily Bee Designs - Persnickety papers inside but not all the way as the rest will be covered up with tissue paper.
Kim sent me a beautiful design team pack and amongst the goodies -
Wendy Vecchi Studio 490 stamps - Art on Her Mind Stamp Set
Lily Bee Design - Persnickety 6x6 paper pad
I knew I had to use them on this project along with Christy Tomlinson/Unity stamp - She leaped.
To get started I carefully opened up the box to give a flat surface to stamp on and applied a base coat with Gesso, stamped the image and used a mixture of Distress ink pads which I can not do without . . . Looove { as I write looove I am sitting here singing it, lol }. . . and Pan Pastels to colour.
I added some paper and brushed a little Gesso over to blend it in.
Stamped the phrases onto card, chopped up and used silicone to make them pop.
My trust wonky tonky sewing machine is unwell at the moment so I grabbed a fine liner pen for the faux stitching and all the scribbles.
Popped the box back together with a hot glue gun and finished with wire and brads to make a handle.
Of course no gift bag would be complete without a gift tag.
I keep all the tags that come with purchases {loooove them} and add a little Gesso,Ranger Distress crackle paint, paper, Pan Pastels and a fine Black liner pen along with a beautiful stamp to finish.
Sooo what is in the bag..hmmm?
Well it involves air dry clay and pretty pretty goodies . . . will be posting them on my blog at the weekend if you want to see more.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Psssst . . . it would be great if you could join us for the eTeam picks challenge HERE

Hi Tracy, what an absolutely gorgeous gift bag, love the She Art girl (have recently discovered them myself and love them), the delicate colours you have used and the wonderful papers. I like the way you have applied the papers on the outside. A really gorgeous creation. Anne x
