eclectic Paperie is Looking for a New Loving Owner

Dear eP Nation,

For the last five years I've been managing eclectic Paperie(eP). Interacting with customers and participating in the paper crafting community helped provide for my family, gave me something to be passionate about, and kept me sane as my two daughters grew.

It is time for me to move on. In many newsletters, I've mentioned my earlier career as a Disneyland manager. I left Disneyland when my second daughter was born. The thing is, I really loved working at Disneyland. I've recently had an opportunity to return and I've decided to take it. That's right, I'm going back to the Happiest Place on Earth.

As a result, it is time for me to move on from the eclectic Paperie. I'm speaking with several potential buyers for this business. If you, or someone you know is interested, please let me know. This online store has operated for five years and has a stellar reputation in the paper crafting community. Moreover, eP contains bits of my heart and soul. Unless I find the right buyer, I will simply close it.

This doesn't mean I'm leaving you all completely. Indeed, I suspect I'm going to have more time for crafting once this transition is complete than I've had in many years.

Stay tuned as I work with new owners or (possibly) run the greatest sale ever to clear out merchandise (or both). THANK YOU all for your patronage and support over the years. Most importantly, thank you all for your love and friendship.

Wow, that is BIG news, Daisy! I can imagine how bittersweet it must be to reach such a fork in the road. How wonderful that it's to return to something you love doing! Wishing you the very best and looking forward to seeing all your new creations.

Oh, Daisy, I'm so surprised! But I'm really happy for you - you should always do something you love if you can. Maybe we'll run into you some time in Disneyland.

Well, my dear friend, it has been a great run. You did great with Electic Paperie so you are leaving on a high note. Good Luck with your future endeavors. I wish you only the best that life has to offer.

How exciting for you as you begin anew, and yet endings are sad as well. Wishing you all the best as you transition on into something you love.

Daisy, as much as I enjoy EP and the blog, the opportunity to work at Disneyland is far too good to pass up! I have always dreamed of working there myself. I requested an application when I was about 19 but was informed that you had to be a county resident before you could even apply. So I never did. Lived in Santa Barbara County at that time and am now in northern CA. But I grew up going to Disneyland (I was born the same year they opened!), and it is a favorite place for me. It is the happiest place on earth! Best Wishes to you!
