Wood Art with Authentique & Pan Pastels . . .

Hi everyone, Tracy here today and I am soooo excited to be sharing a little of my wood art with you all!
It`s so simple to create . . . honest . . . all you will need is a lump of wood, the piece I used was laying around at my allotment . . . I didn`t sand it as I love the roughness of texture, but I did give it a quick coat of Acrylic White Paint.
In the picture above I`ve said "1 die cut star " but I ended up using 3 to give it more dimension.
Kim sent me the set of  Star dies a while ago and oh my giddy aunt they are a dream to work with
what`s even better is they are half price right now in the shop, woohoo!
 The pretty papers are from
beautiful, warm rich colors.
I added some more of the papers down the sides and along the top to box it all in.
After getting messy with a mixture of Pan Pastels from Mixed Media sets 1 & 2
it was time to . . . doodle doodle doo all over with a fine black liner pen
followed by some . . .

Loooove them, just saying!
Finishing with a few Word stickers and some Glossy Gel over the surface.
What once was a lump of wood is now a gift for someone`s Christmas . . . 1 down and more to go,lol!

I hope you enjoyed my makeover and if you have a go, we would love to see what you create.
Happy Crafting
xoxo
