A Bat-day present

Jules here with a little Moleskin notebook and cover that I created as a gift for a friend whose birthday falls on Halloween.  Hope she likes it!

I used the Tim Holz Idea-ology Halloween Rubs on both of the covers.  First, I placed the Halloween Rubs on the Moleskin notebook.  I created the cover out of glassine paper and a free download off the internet.  I used my pinking sheers across the top.  I slid the notebook inside the glassine cover and decorated it so that the two overlapped.

I added a strip on the side from the Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells paper along with the "poison" and "charms" words.  The "wicked" on the white flower is from the Halloween Rubs also.

I added a few embellishments to some of the inside pages, highlighted with a gold leafing pen and included a few others for my friend to place where she wanted.

The Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells paper pad provided so many fun things from which to choose.  This might also make a fun Trick or Treat for that special teacher or friend.

  2. Lovely project and lucky friend! Love the way you've made your own bag. The remnant rub ons and G45 papers work really well together. I think you might be making a few more of these! X
