Good morning! Sherry with you today and I have a 5.5 card to share using the Graphic 45 Raining Cats & Dogs Collection. It’s been some time since I’ve worked with Graphic 45 and this card was a joy to create. I love how all the papers in the collection compliment each other and can be mixed and matched so you don’t need to add other non-Graphic 45 elements unless you want. I also used Graphic 45 6x6 Patterns and Solids for this collection to add more interest.
The edges of the background papers were distressed with scissors and the edges were sponged with Antique Linen Distress Ink. Brads were added to a few of the corners for interest.
A frame was made by gluing a solid color paper from the collection to chipboard and then die cutting it with ovals. The cat image was also glued to chipboard and then cut out (to make it sturdier within the oval frame). The flower was die cut from another sheet of the paper and the leaves were die cut from vanilla card stock, then colored with Mowed Lawn and Peeled Paint Distress Inks.
The ribbon was dyed with Antique Linen Distress Ink.
Thanks for stopping by and joining me today!

Love your card Sherry! Great idea to glue some of the papers to chipboard before cutting and die cutting. A great way to create your own embellishments with the G45 papers,! Love that now too! Xx
