BOO-tiful Woman

Hi! It's Jules with another Halloween themed project for this hauntingly fun month.  Each October, I add to my "witchy woman" collection.  This year, the Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells collection provided me with tons of inspiration.

To create this steampunk witch, fussy cut the image of the lady, truncating her just below her belt buckle. Highlight some of the dress and hat with Splash of Color Silks and put her to one side to dry.

While the paint was drying, create her dress.  Cut different patterned  strips from the paper pack, cut 4 strips of each of the following:

                                                      2"x6"      1 1/2"x5"        1 1/4"x4"
Attached the strips at the ends and in the middle to form ovals. Smudged the edges of the strips on both sides with ink.

Using either double sided tape or clear glue dots in the middle, attache the ovals one on top of other another starting with the larger and working to the smallest on top.

Form a circle no wider than the bottom of the image out of paper and glue it to the lady image at the waist.  Glue the circle to the top most "ruffle" of the dress.

This entire project took me about an hour and it was such fun!
