It's a Good Day!

Hello, everyone!  It's Broni and I wanted to show you a couple of brightly colored tags I made.

For my first tag, I spritzed my craft sheet with Pure Sunshine and some water, then dragged the tag through it.  I love that vibrant color!  I let the paint drip, but because I'm impatient I also used my airbrush to push some of the drips along!

I used my Vibrant Turquoise, Bubblegum Pink, and Black Marble sprays with some stencils (Mini Chevron and Mini Confetti are a couple); then I spritzed White Linen over all the remaining open spaces.

I used some washi tape, some Distress Brushed Pewter paint, some Unity stamps and a Micron pen for the rest of the design.  I love playing with the pen and outlining some of the stenciled images and drawing in filler lines.

The seam binding was also spritzed with the Bubblegum Pink spray and if you look closely you can see some little stars made with Studio 490 embossing paste.

I used my second tag to press my inky stencils onto and then also to spritz on some more ink sprays.  There's also some tape, stamped images and embossing paste on this one too.  The wire flowers were from an old Maya Road embellishment pack.

Here's the second tag, tied to the first one with the seam binding.  You can see the shimmer of the edges that were painted with the Distress Brushed Pewter paint.  The backs of each tag were simply spritzed with the sprays.

Can you tell I had a lot of inky fun with these?  I really did!  How about you?  Have you gotten inky today?

Thanks for stopping in today!

  2. Hello Broni
The bright colours bring a smile to my face, the Tags are beautiful, it is a pleasant change from the metallic and grunge effect we often see on Tags.
    Smiles:)

  3. Broni, these tags are gorgeous. I love the vibrant colours and the subtle details like the embossing paste stars. Your layering and colour sense are always so delightful. I also really like how beautifully you use negative space in your design. I'd love to sit beside you while you create... and I learn :)
