Marjie here sharing a page I made with one of Donna Downey's gorgeous new stamps... these are the Wayward Blooms. These stamps are so large (8") that they are sized perfectly for the new Dyan Reaveley Dylusions art journal.
I used Tim Holtz's tissue wrap on my pages, then stamped my flowers in jet black archival ink and colored them in using water soluable crayons and my Tim's water brush.
Then I brought on the Dylusions Ink Sprays:
And added some chipboard letters (painted and inked) along with my stamped sentiment:
Have a great day!
Marjie

The tissue tape background was a brilliant move. It adds some great energy to the whole piece. I love the surreal colors you chose to work with here...that vibrant blue and neon green really capture the eye. I can almost feel the flowers waving in the breeze...really nice vibe. And the one little butterfly who has escaped the borders of the page...love that!
ReplyDeleteStunning Marjie . . .adore the tissue tape background and that stamp...Awesome!!
