Joy Tag!

Good morning!  Sherry here today and I’ve got a Christmas tag to share with you.

SCheeverJoyTag

A manila tag was colored with Iced Spruce and Shaded Lilac Distress Inks, using the Wrinkle-Free Distress Technique.    When the tag was dry, it was embossed using Spellbinders EL-014 Holiday Magic M-Bossabilities.  The edges were then sponged with more ink and the tag was misted with Heirloom Gold Perfect Pearls combined with water.

All the elements of the tag were made from manila tags that had been colored with either the Wrinkle-Free Distress Technique or a gold leafing pen.  The poinsettia was die cut/embossed with Spellbinders S5-055 Layered Poinsettia from a tag colored with Festive Berries and then highlighted with Pine Needles.  The deer was die cut/embossed with Spellbinders S5-121 Frost Forms from a tag colored with Gathered Twigs.  The evergreen sprig was die cut/embossed with Spellbinders S5-120 Fall Foliage colored with Evergreen Bough.  The flourishes were die cut with Spellbinders S5-119 Venetia Motifs from a plain tag, and then colored with a gold leafing pen.

Hopefully you can tell in the picture above how the Perfect Pearls and water left gold shimmer on all the different elements.

The word JOY was die cut/embossed with Spellbinders LF-014 Jewel Alphabet and then colored with a gold leafing pen to match the flourishes at the bottom.  The seam binding ribbon was dyed with Shaded Lilac, Iced Spruce and Evergreen Bough Distress Inks.   (Video Tutorials on Dying Seam Binding can be found at the eClassroom).

As always, if I have used product that you cannot find at eclectic Paperie, please email Kim and she will be more than happy to order the product for you.

Thanks for joining me today!
