The E-Team is revisiting the very popular Distress Stain in Part 5 of "It's Better with Color" series. With the introduction of 25 new Distress Stain colors, we figured it was a good medium to color with. That is a lot of new colors to play with. The new Distress Stain colors all coordinate with the Distress Ink color palette.
e-team blog hop stain
eclectic Paperie has all the new colors available and are offering them at 10% off. You may want to try some or get a couple new colors into your collection after you get some ideas and inspiration from this E-Team blog hop.

Distress Stains are the perfect medium if you need to cover a large surface quickly. You can apply as little or as much as you need to build the intensity of the color. It has all the properties of Distress Inks in terms of being able to wick but not breaking down in color. If you really want to learn all there is to know about Distress Stains, take 10 minutes to view this Tim Holtz video. He quickly goes through its properties, uses, and some applications as well.

See what The E-Team has used their Distress Stain to create some awesome projects. You'll pick up some tips and tricks. You'll also see different color combinations that may inspire you to try them out.

Visit the participating blogs in this E-Team blog hop for a chance to win an eclectic Paperie gift voucher. One comment per person per blog, please.  You have from today, Friday, July29th until Sunday, July 31st to visit each blog participant. Three winners will be chosen from the blog hop participants. The three winners will be posted on the eclectic Paperie Blog on Monday, August 1st so make sure you check back to claim your prize.

There is also one additional prize to be won here on this eclectic Paperie blog. Leave a comment about what you like about Distress Stain and maybe a link to any projects you may have done. Let us know what other surfaces you have used Distress Stains with, too. The eP Blog winner will receive some Distress Stain bottles and some surprises, too.

  38. Greetings,

First, your store and the blog are always filled with great products and many idea's, I am inspired everytime I visit or shop. The Distress Stains are fabulous! I just have Spun Sugar and Vintage Photo as these were the only 2 available in the Monterey Bay area! I have used the stains on many projects. Naturally, it works great on tag ART. I used it to color some white seam binding a had, and now a have THREE colors of bindings which took the ink very well. It worked magic very quickly on my ATC's, and lastly I colored cream faux flower petals to a beautiful pale pink with the Spun Sugar. I WISH our area had more! I can hardly wait for you to announce the winner!
