Operation Got Paper Rosette?

Happy October!

I challenged The E-Team a couple weeks ago after they all received one of the hottest new dies around, the Paper Rosette from the Tim Holtz Alterations collection by Sizzix/Ellison. This is a thin die and you may need some extra plates to help your get it through die cutting machine.

Please visit The E-Team to see what they have created. Then come back to the eclectic Paperie blog and let me know about some of your favorites. Leave a post and I will be choosing a random winner who will receive the 12 newest Distress Stickles plus your own Paper Rosette Die. Plus, you never know what kind of surprise I may throw in the box. It's the eclectic Paperie way.

Wishing you a great weekend!

  8. thank you so much for the opportunity...I especially enjoyed how each one of your designers came up with different uses for the rosettes...very interesting and it makes the die more than just a one use cut...and that's what creativity is all about, right? Good job ALL! but my favorite was LATRICE MURPHY! What beautiful colors... I loved it!

  9. Wow! What a gorgeous display of rosettes. All the projects were so great, but my two favorites were Sherry's and Linda's. I loved the colors, the multiple layers and the final projects of both!

  11. I think the E Team are all so talented! I had two favorites. The first was Bouquet of flowers in the pitcher by Linda Duke. I could really see that in my home or as a gorgeous gift. Then I loved Sherry Cheever "Embrace the Journey" wall plague. She is so creative and talented. I do have to mention one more thing that I thought was so cute and that was Starla's cute baby chick. I would never have thought of that one. How clever!

  12. I have to say, I LOVE that die!
It is so easy to work with. Your team did a wonderful job creating with it.
My fave was Linda Dukes. I just love everything about how she used the die and ephemera.
I also liked simplicity of Broni's card. It's just enough layers, depth color. Cool!
If you happen to pick me to win, please choose another name. I have the die. Just wanted to comment.

  13. Wow, They were all inspiring.. but my favorites..it's a tie; is Latrice's hot air balloon. Love the colors. I also loved the out-of-the-box idea of Micki block. What a fabulous baby gift idea. Thanks for all the inspiration this morning. Crossing my fingers, would love to win. :)

  14. I liked them all....but I would have to say that my favorite(since I have to pick one) is Sherry with Starla a close second. I loved the project that Sherry made and I think it was great how Starla used the rosette for a "cupcake holder" on the bottom of her project to hold the item in. Awesome job ladies!!!

  15. Thanks for doing this hop; it answered a few questions I had on the roesette die...and of course, now I want it! My fav piece...Linda Duke..loved the colors. This would be a great southern Christmas Arrangement (I'm from the north...just can't do watering cans..sleighs, yes) But a real close second..Sherry Cheever..real, real close!

  16. The E team did a wonderful job! I hadn't given much thought to wanting this die, but I certainly do now!!!

It's so hard to choose a favorite, but I have to say Sherry Cheever won my heart with her wall haning, and Latrice Murphy grabbed my attention with her creative vision. I can't wait to lift them both!

  17. Hi Daisy -

Your E-Team has outdone itself! What gorgeous and creative works of art! It is very hard to pick a favorite because of the designers did such wonderful jobs. I loved Micki's use of bottle caps as centers, Latrice's idea of using the rosettes as something other than flowers, love Broni's ornament, but I think my favorite is Sherry's canvas. You have an outstanding team!

Next is Linda then Broni, so hard to tell you what I really loved about both, but they were beautiful and so creative. I would definitely do both of these projects if I could.

If forced I guess it's Broni's snowflake ornament! I think it's the glitter factor and the nostalgia flavour that did it for me. I would love to make enough to cover a whole tree!!!
