Glimmer Mist to the Rescue

Samantha promised to "make" the guest book for my cousin's wedding. She really wanted to make a special one since she is very close to the bride. Samantha was the Junior Bridesmaid so we used her dress as inspiration.

We stumbled upon this beautiful white lace guest book at Michaels. It was very simple and pristine white. It was a Martha Stewart product and would be the perfect starting point to personalize a special wedding guest book. First she decided that some Glimmer Mist would do the trick to add some color and shimmer to the plain white guest book. Choosing Pineapple Glimmer Mist for some color and contrast, Samantha inserted a piece of paper between the book and the paper lace cover. With a light hand and several quick mists, she had the glimmer and intensity she wanted. Samantha than chose a matching purple cardstock to insert between the book and lace cover. Some matching satin ribbon, a little bling(Kaiser Rhinestones) here and there, and voila'....a very pretty wedding guest book that matched the wedding colors/motif chosen by the bride.

It is very hard to photograph the shimmer and subtle shine that Glimmer Mist will give a project. Just know that a little goes a long way and sometimes, that is all you need to add a little "wow" to your paper crafts. We really love how the Glimmer Mist is water-based and acid free. The liquid itself is tinted so that the Glimmer Mist will "dye" any paper with a fine mist. This guest book did start off pristine white.

A beautiful bride, a loving groom and a fun wedding party filled with family, friends and memories. Many blessings to Cathy & Ray! Cheers!
