Intorducing Maya Road

Sorry it's been a little, too, long. We have been so busy getting in new product, trying to get it up on the website and then shipping out pre-orders and regular orders. A big THANKS! to a lot of girlfriends referring Eclectic Paperie to all their friends because we have been busy. THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Wanted to share Maya Road and their fantastic alterable chipboard and tins. First, they are a great overall value. For example, something like the Paisely chipboard designs is great at $6.99; you get 36 shapes; then you get the 4"x6" clear topped storage tin that you can use for something else or alter into something fantastic.

Then there are the Lunch Box and Book Collections. The Lunch Break Tin is a tall alterable lunch box with removable handles to make it easy with papering or painting. Those cool alcohol inks(coming soon) would be great with these tins. There are naked chipboard books that can be purchased separately to fit inside, too. Wouldn't these be great for and spring project like Mother's Day or a fun alterable for those Easter memories and/or traditions? Come check out the Maya Road Collection and see what can inspire your creativity. There are a lot more chipboard shapes, tins, and books to see.

What kind of ideas do you have for these chipboard and tin items? Post here by March 3rd and we'll pull a name to receive a Lunch Break Tin and Lunch Break Book

  5. Oh, so I was suppose to read the WHOLE entry...LOL! Well, I plan on purchasing some lunch box tins to use with some customers. You see a Mary Kay director asked me to come up with some projects that she could reward her top preformers with. I plan to alter lunch tins so the MK consultants can keep customer records handy....and won't they look cute at an MK party. Yes, they will be girly girl and TOTAL GLAM....just like Joy and Daisy!

    LOVE YA!

  7. Hi Daisy & Joy! I received my eP order & Wowzer. The Cosmo Cricket paper is even better than I hoped. I got Peggy Sue, Georgie Girl, Lil Suzie, & Miss Molly. Love them all. The richness of the color & weight of the paper is superb. I plan to cover my chipboard calendar this weekend using my new cosmo line. LOL Took a peek at the site today & found myself throwing stuff into the cart. It is so exciting to see what will be posted next. Definitely ordering tins and mini books this weekend. I just need more time to pour over the papers. Thanks so much for the great selection. I love my goodies & will be back for more. EdieB :D

  8. Those are absolutely adorable! I LOVE the tins for the chipboard - 2 projects in one! I can see the tin all decorated to match my son's room and then fill the book with reasons why I love him. He's 9 and doesn't always want me to tell him that. With that in his room, he could read it whenever he needed it :) LOVE your site!

  9. These boxes are adorable! I think they are perfect for giving gifts. They can be a gift by themselves, or you could fill them with some goodies and give them to a friend.

P.S. The Maya Road chipboard looks like so much fun! I am addicted to chipboard :)

  10. OOOOHH, these look like fun, fun, fun stuff. I'd use one of the tins to make a baby's first year tin to hold all the paraphenelia, pics etc. My niece is having her first baby the end of March and this would be so cute. Love all the new chip board too.
So, thanks for the contest(maybe I'll win!?)!

  18. First, congratulations! Second, Taylor sent me. Third, I love, love, love your stuff. And as to what I plan to do with the goodies...(1) I will decorate the book and fill it with sources of inspiration (color swatches, sketches, samples, etc.) and (2) I will use the tin as a tote for all of my essential crafting tools.

Lots of luck to you, ladies!

  19. What awesome products!! I would use the lunch tin as a scrapbook/what I love about you Mom gift for Mother's Day or even for my Dad for Father's Day.

Now I just need to plan my shopping list and place an order.

  20. I really like them! I'd use them for my sample card storage. Sometimes I make cards that I like the design, but not the papers or stamps used. I keep them as inspiration - it would be great to have a place to store them. Thanks for chance at this cool prize!

  21. i HEART Maya Road! and am so loving your site! chipboard is my new addiction, but i do share.... love the tin and the books, think they would make a great end of the year gift for my daughter's kindy teacher: each kid gets a page to decorate and "rememories" (as my daughter says) of the fun things that happened through the year.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Oh wow, lots of fun stuff! My idea for the daisy shaped chipboard is to cover them with pigment ink and let dry, then put a bazill bling flower in the center and a faux diamond brad in the center of that and attach the whole thing to a card or scrapbook page.

    Taylor sent me!

  27. Wow girls!! Love these - they would be great for my misc markers, blender pens (don't know the measurements, but that would be my first try). They'd also make a nice gift - maybe some items from Bath & Body Works, some stamp accessories, etc. Oh - you got my mind working now!! :)

  29. I love these. I have many ideas but the one I would have to do first would be to make a gift album and tin for my sister-in-law who is having her c-section next week! They are great!!! By the way, I was referred by Taylor's blog. I love your stuff!!!

  30. Oh my goodness, those are so cute! My head is spinning with ideas! I think I would sparkle one up for my daughter. She would love one for all her top secret stuff! (letters from friends!)lol And I have been looking for something to make a holder for all my love letters from my DH, I think these would be perfect! I would also do one for cards. And I think I would do one as a little treasure chest for my students. They get to pick out little things from a box I have. I think one of these would be perfect! Thanks for sharing, I am going to have to pick up a few of these! Christine

  31. Although I haven't had an opporunity to play with chipboard or the tins, my head is spinning with ideas. These chipboard elements would look so awesome altered with paper, ink, paints, etc and added to a scrapbook page, card or a mini book. I love making mini books and creating a mini book to go inside a tin would be priceless. I'd love to see one for a silver anniversary inside a silver tin, or even a baby's first year, Mother, Father, Daughter, Grandmother, the list is endless. All of these keepsake books would definately be the treasure that they are tucked inside a Lunchbox Tin or other shapes. Thanks for the inspiration and fun contest.

  32. I love Maya Road products; bought some little tins to make shaker ornaments, but didn't get them done before the holidays. So, my list of ideas for your blog-candy tins is probably long, but mostly, I'll treasure the unadorned tin for at least a month or two before the right idea hits (am I the only one that does that?). TFS!

  39. What a great treat you ladies are offering. From quite the fabulous new store, too! What fun! Let's see. I've been wanting to make a personalized board book for some young nephews, so the chipboard book would be perfect for that. Good size for little hands & nice and sturdy, too. And I'm stuck on filling the lunch break tin with cookies to take to the office and share. Or to eat on your lunch break, I suppose. Who's stopping you?!?

I'm drooling over the Maya Road stuff. I would decorate this to match my scrap/stamp room and use for storing cards or other odds and ends.

  43. Cool! I'm just really starting to play with chipboard. I would use the book to make a letter holder for my die cut leftovers. I saw something like that in one of the recent magazines.

The lunch box.... hmmm -- probably decorate it up and use the box for taking snacks, etc., to baseball. The comments alone would be good business boosters!

  52. These are great! I have so many ideas in my head - the possibilites are endless. I have been doing a little card ministry thing for the past few years. I send cards to many people I've never met - I hear about their "troubles" from others who know them and then well I just have to send them encouragement and hope - so for me the tins would just have to get decorated as pretty as can be and given as gifts to people in need. (hey now I sound like a poet!)

    ReplyDelete
  53. Wow! These would be so fun to decorate! They would make such fun storage for all kinds of goodies!

    ReplyDelete
  54. These are darling! I can see myself making pins out of some of those chipboard flowers! Or decorating boxes and packages using them. Or...what about making them into napkin rings...sooo cute...with beaded strand to make the ring. I would redecorate the tins and use them repackage embellishments and give them away as gifts...Oooh, I could use it as blog candy for my own blog!

    ReplyDelete
  55. I love the idea of using the tins for card storage - a sure way to prevent the precious hand made cards from being bent. The chipboard would look cute as an embellishment.

Love your blog and am looking forward to purchasing.

  76. Fantastic !! I could think of a million little things to put in these, my Prisma's, blender pens, embellishments, etc.... but I think I would jazz them up and give them to my daughter for her medication. She has lupus and takes so many pills every day.... I think making her something pretty would make it a little easier!

I just LOVE your store... thanks so much !!!
