Two weeks ago my sister-in-law and oldest niece came over for a crafty, canvas day. They had never really done mixed media work so we had a ton of fun experimenting, playing, using neat products and just being creative! Here is the result of my day, for most of the day I hated it - it just wasn't working for me. But like most mixed media things, if you just keep working it you can eventually come up with a masterpiece! :)
Some of the girls then used their canvas to paint, or stamp on but I decided to make an "old school" SheArt girl, by cutting out paper shapes, adding paint for detail.
I added outlines with a black pen, rub-ons from Pink Paislee, some Unity Stamps from Christy Tomlinson and words from one of my vintage books.
We had such a fun day with these!! I'll even share a picture of the canvas my daughter made using one of the Prima girl stamps.
Thanks for stopping in!! Have a great weekend!
